The Sony DSR-PD170 my primary camera has all the features of its little brother the VX2100, but has more manual controls for video and audio ensuring professional results every time.

The Sony DCR-VX2100 is the industry standard for wedding videos. This isn't your Uncle Charlie’s camera. With 3CCD’s your video will be crystal clear with bright, vibrant and accurate colors, especially in low light situations, such as a candle lit reception or low lit church.
The Sony UWP UHF Synthesized Wireless Microphone System with lavalier microphone goes where the shotgun mic can't. With its PLL synthesized system, you will not have to worry about any interference or audio dropouts during the most important moments in your wedding, your vows will be heard crystal clear.

Not everyone and everything can be wired to a microphone. The Azden SGM-1X Shotgun Microphone, shown here without the foam windscreen, ensures that audio is heard from other sources, such as readers, or a singer.

Audio is half the video. With two balanced XLR inputs the BeachTek DXA-4 provides high quality sound and the ability to control both the wireless and the shotgun microphone's audio levels during your wedding. This lets me create the professional quality audio your wedding deserves.

The Sony MDR-V600 Headphones are what I use to adjust the audio levels during filming. The closed-type construction keeps out ambient noise, so I can focus on the audio being captured.

The Sony NPF960 InfoLithium® Battery gives me over 10 hours of recording time. With a spare in my pocket, you can be assured that your wedding and reception will end before these batteries do.

I keep all my InfoLithium® batteries charged with the Sony BC-V500. It is able to charge two NPF90's at once and I think it is better than using the VX2000 as the battery charger.

Something has to store all this equipment, and the Sony LCH-VX2000 hard case, has plenty of extra storage for all of my accessories. It also doubles as a stepping stool, and a nice seat.

Nothing ruins a video more than a shaky camera. Image stabilization can only do so much. The Sony VCT-870RM enables me to capture rock solid video, and its 2-way tilt head ensures smooth motion when panning and zooming on different subjects.
